Be Still and Know...

Be still and know that God is near
    Wherever you may be;
You cannot go beyound God's reach;
    He hears the faintest plea.

He knowns the problems that you face,
    The hurt you're going through.
Because you are His own dear child,
    He wants what's best for you.

He holds the future in His hands,
    He sees what lies ahead,
And He will safely guide you through
    This time that you now dread.

O weary one, know that God is near,
    Trust in His will and way.
He is waiting there to help you...
    He's just a prayer away.

        -- by Kay Hoffman

Nothing can stand against our God.

Whatever you face in life,
 if you will just hold your
peace and remain at rest,
 God promises He will
make a way even when
 you don't see a way.
For I am sure that neither
death nor life, nor angels nor rulers,
nor things present nor things to come,
nor powers, nor height nor depth,
nor anything else in all creation,
will be able to separate us from
the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.
~ Romans 8:38-39

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ,
he is a new creation. The old has
passed away; behold, the new has come.
~ 2 Corinthians 5:17
